Earth Corps Coalition: Prospective Coalition Member Organizations

Please feel free to contact any organization on the following list. But before you volunteer, make sure you that the organization is reputable. Ask for references and check out their work before you contribute your time or money. And give some thought to your expectations regarding volunteering. What do you hope to gain and give by volunteering? What is your motivation? What skills and expertise can you offer an organization? Answering these questions for yourself will help you identify the most appropriate organizations and assignments for you.

Your volunteering experiences will be as different as the organizations you volunteer with. Many organizations now offer opportunities to volunteer online. Host organizations’ styles and methods vary, depending on the organization's culture, the nature of the assignments, and the organization's experience in managing volunteers. If you are flexible about ideas and methods, each volunteering assignment will be a unique learning opportunity.
